It is impossible to tell me how easy it is for you to remove a transmission. I do not know your skillset.
It's easy for most mechanics, but even some mechanics may have difficulty.
I suggest downloaded a service manual and reading through the transmission removal procedure. If you feel this is something you can handle, then go for it.
