Dear professional mechanics i have a 1991 acura integra dont really know much about cars but im working at a lube shop hoping to start a career. i just bought the car about 2 1/2 weeks ago. when i looked at the car the engine oil was fine. i went to go wash it one day and smelled a funny smell, opened up the hood and checked the oil level. again it looked fine so i wiped the dip stick off and checked it again and it was bone dry. i have seen no oil spots in the drive way and i'm not really sure what to do or think. so if you could please help me that would be great. thank you for your time

Hi Bman32592,

With the age and mileage of the engine, I would recommend replacing the valve seals which should be hardened and not providing good sealing thus the high consumption of engine oil.
