i have a 1991 integra gs with a 1.8 liter dohc with about 164000 miles and a 5spd standard transmission when i first start taking off the acceleration struggles just a little bit but barely noticable as i get higher and higher into the rpms this whining noise gets louder and louder and my gas mileage has gone down and the car has gotten a little shaky i dont no if its my cat or some kind of fuel problem?

I will check the tune up
And the clutch if it is slipping
Also check the brake and brake system
