I have a 1990 acura its stalled the other day when I was driving so I started by checking the coil because it would not restart. It was not getting spark so I tested the coil with a test light it had power. I then had someone crank the motor and notice that the rotor was moving very slow so I took the distributor out. The bearing was fried so I got a new one put it in number one piston to T.D.C and still no start I took every plug out and tested each one off the distributor. They all work so then after that as I was working on that I had a real bad fuel smell I looked in every cylinder and saw a lot I mean alot of fuel in each cylinder I let it sit and tried to get the fule out not sure if it could be flood but I also but a new p.C.M in. Also I made sure the firing order was correct.

Hi joeg5069,

There is a possibility the engine is flooded to the continous cranking.

Remove the spark plugs and crank the engine for a few seconds to check if fuel is still flooding the cylinders.

If yes, either the injectors are stuck open or the PCM is bad.

Check the timing belt and timing. If it is loose, the seized distributor bearing could have caused the camshaft to seized resulting in the timing belt jumping tooth.
