1990 Acura Integra fuses blowing

My alternator solenoid valve fuse keeps blowing but when you put a higher amp fuse it takes a 15 if you put a 20 or 25 it doesnt blow what could it be?

Alternator solenoid valve ? Never heard of such an item before.

If any fuses keeps blowing and a higer rating fuse solves the probelm, it most probably is temporary, the fuse is going to blow again or some component is going to get burnt soon.

You need to check alll the components and wire connections related to the fuse to determine the cause. If additional accecssories had been added to the circuit and is of a higher amp rating, you need to relocate it.

The fuse will protect the circuit but it will not protect those components with the lower rating.
