I would like to know what's wrong with my car because when I'm accelerating from the stop light the car doesn't want to go and kinda slows down and sputs until I nearly floor the pedal. Please advise. Thank you.

That can be a number of issues ranging from a plugged air filter to injector issues to plug and wire issues. The air filter first, then pull the plugs and look at them. How old are the wires?
