1989 Acura Integra transmission and cruise control
Transmission problem
1989 Acura Integra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 210000 miles
on my 1989 Acura Integra, my transmission starts erratically shifting around 45 mph up to 60 and wont shift into fourth gear. Also the cruise control doesn't work whenever its erratically shifting, but does work when it does shift into fourth gear every now and then.

Hi deanvx1,
Possible causes for the problem are :
1. Shift cable broken/out of adjustment.
2. 3-4 shift valve stuck
3. Shift timing valve/cuumulator stuck.
