1989 Acura Integra head gasket

On my acura I know I need to replace a head gasket and I need to know how to do it and would that also be causing my motor to over heat

Hi acura boy,

If the head gasket is defective, it would cause overheating.

To replace it, you need to remove the cylinder head, test it and the block surface for warpage and reface if necessary.

The process of removal involves taking off the timing belt and related parts.
