Hello,

A catalytic converter can be replaced using simple hand tools.
One of the thing you have to be careful is not to brake a bolt or strip out a nut. As typically exhaust bolts are supportable to rust due to high heat.
It is a good idea to use penetrating oil into the mounting nuts and bolt of the converters.
Have you determined which is the bad catalytic converter? What trouble codes are you getting?
