Fue filter is incorporated into the fuel pump assy and is located in fuel tank. Here are the removalprocedures.

Remove spare tire lid and fuel tank access cover from floor.
Disconnect fuel gauge sending unit 5-pin connector. Remove fuel fill cap.
Release fuel pressure by using a wrench, loosen fuel pulsation damper one full turn.
Cover damper and wrench with a shop towel. Replace copper washers on fuel pulsation damper before tightening.
Disconnect quick-connect connections from fuel pump.
Remove bolts and fuel pump assembly from fuel tank.
