Drivers power seat recline stuck
Interior problem
2001 Acura CL 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 105,00 miles
The driver's side power seat will not recline. When the switch is engaged, there is a clicking sound, but no movement. I'm wondering if it could have been caused by loose change slipping into the mechanism. What's the easiest fix? Local mechanic quoted $150 just to take it apart.

Hi hockypuk,
The seat is rather easy to remove.
Move the seat forward and remove the 2 bolts underneath.
Move seat backwards and remove the 2 botls.
Lift seat to disconnect the wire couplers and the seat can be taken out.
Remove the side covers and you can see what ihas gotten between the gears.
Before removing anything, locate the motor and give it some banging, sonetimes it is just stuck and needs so push start.
