2001 Acura CL Air suddenly stoped working
Air Conditioning problem
2001 Acura CL 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 195000 miles
The Air conditioning in my Acura all of the sudden stopped blowing cold air. Blower works fine. The air has been working. Have used every day this summer as the heat & humidity has been pretty bad this summer. Anyway, is this a repiar a do-it yourselfer can do or am I better off taking the car in to a mechanic? Anyone had the same thing happen?

Hi jkimp,
This is a common problem that most people would face when some components fails.
The A/C system should be done by ttrained personnel if it requires charging and discharging of the freon.
For DIY, those things that you could check, the electrical systems would be within means.
Check if the compressor is engaging when it is not blowing cold air.
Check for blown fuses.
Check the compressor clutch relay and circuit.
