When I turn on the key to start my car I get nothing, it seems as if all the electrical power has been turned off. I have checked the fuses and charged the battery, what could it be?

Hi there,

Are you getting dash lights, and accessories and just no cranking?

Well, two things I can think of either your ignition switch is faulty or your starting system is outta whack. First check your battery connections and all the big fuses like 100amp engine fuse etc. If you have lights on the dash then your ign. Switch is halfway working but then when you turn the key it and it isn't working then it could be the switch. But before you buy anything please check your starting system and connections, fuses that way you will be sure before you buy. The biggest thing you need to look for is do you have power making it to the starter and the solenoid and battery corrosion or bad wires and (or) terminals. Thanks David Newton
