Hello,

replaced a my dead battery about 6 months ago, everything working fine. Recently the battery dummy light came on after starting my car. A moderately loud humming / buzzing / rattling type noise under the hood accompanied it; it's most noticeable when idling and driving under 20mph. The light is consistent. The dash lights are dimmer than usual and the windshield wipers work at about half their normal speed. The car starts fine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

Starter Test:
Cranking Normal
Avg. Voltage: 11.15V

the tech at Pep Boys said there's a problem w/ the alternator.
