It started as the car passes through water, it stops unless you wait for sometime before you can start.

Later on, this problem pops up, when you start the car, acceleration doesn't respond, I have changed fuel pump, filter, plugs, coil, cum and crankshaft sensors, air flow sensor and even injectors, but still not working.

Please any help?

Hello and thanks for your question. The Nissan Almera should be the same as the Nissan Versa in the States, and also similar to the Sentra. For this year I could only find the Sentra model. In any case, have you checked the operation at the throttle body? You should be able to move the cable by hand and manipulate the idle speed with the engine running. The cable could have a kink or rust causing it to intermittently bind. If it works that way but not at the pedal, then we have our first clue.

Let us know,
William

Thank you very much for your response, please the throttle cable is good. Even when we accelerate it at the cable, it doesn't respond well same as the pedal.

Hello,

I just want to verify that you can see the throttle plate moving. I would start the car without the air intake tube attached to the throttle body and verify that nothing happens when the throttle plate opens. If nothing happens then we need to find out why the engine is not getting air.
