I have added R134 refrigerant to the system and the air is still blowing hot. I can feel/hear the air when I turn on the AC.

If you have not used it in a while you will have to recharge it. There are various kits to recharge it. The hose fits on the low side and will be too small for the high side. Follow the instruction on the recharging kit.

I mentioned that I used a recharging kit in my question. Since I have added the R134a refrigerate to the low side and the pressure is the within acceptable ranges, but the air is still coming out of the vents hot. Is there something else I can check?

If the system is properly charged and operating as it should but you are still getting hot air the issue could be that the blend door or its actuator has failed.
With the AC on max cool does the compressor clutch engage and stay engaged? When you adjust the interior temperature do you feel any change in the air temperature?

I did not locate the compressor clutch to check. When I adjust the temperature to hotter temperatures I can feel the air heat up. To me, there is no change in the cooler temperatures when I adjust the dial.

If the compressor is not kicking on the pressure readings would be wrong. I would start by making sure the compressor is working. If it does not seem to be then go rent/borrow a set of AC gauges and see what the system pressure actually is. Then proceed from there. If you feel it get warmer the actuator is likely operating.
If you turn it to maximum cold, high blower speed and AC the compressor should engage unless there is a different fault, like a low charge or high pressure. Both will cause the system to turn off.
