I have the sound of water sloshing around when accelerating. I have been reading on the web about the drain getting clogged. I however have not been able to locate the drain to try and clean it out. Where should I be looking and what should I be looking for? I've read it was on the firewall passengers side but see nothing that might scream out that its a drain.

A few weeks ago I had the bypass hose on top of the water pump fail on me while driving. I had to replace it and replaced the radiator cap at the same time. I never really paid attention to the temp gauge but was wondering what is normal operating temperature range for this vehicle? Also since it is out of warranty, can I use regular coolant instead of Dex-cool?
