Kia Sorento On star Problem

MY MOM TURNED HER CAR OFF WHILE IN NEUTRAL AND NOW IT WONT START OR GO INTO PARK

step on the brake
turn key on
place it in park
and turn key off and take it out

It's push button start and won't go into park
