Was it the bcm or the main computer? It is controlled by the bcm.

Bypass? Not a good idea as it may have caused other issues. Did the repair shop give you a bid?

The pcm is about 400 labor is about 1 hour and flashing is about 100.
Bcm is about 300 with 1 hour in labor.

Hope there is no other damage.

Check and see if you have any waranty left on the car as it is still with 3-5 year period. Call the dealer and give them your vin number.

Be carefull, if they see this bypass, it will void all warranties.
