starts good but doesn't move

I have a 1965 wheel horse 875 that starts good but doesn't move. i think its stuck out of gear and if it is i don't know how to get it back in gear.

Check the transmission fluid level.

i checked that and i added some but its not that.

Too bad we do not have any technical information on this.

Try checking to see if there are anything that is loose on the gear lever etc.

well if you put it in gear it doesnt move much. it only moves about and inch

I have a service manual for the tractor but i looked in there and it doesnt say anything about it not moving. I wish I knew a little more about the tractor.
