I am curious when the tire sensor gauge indicates a tire with low pressure.

How low do the PSI's in the tire on a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country need to get before the tire sensor gauge will indicate a problem? I am also interested in knowing if there is a minimum or maximum PSI amount that is government regulated.

The air pressure spec is determined and programmed in by the manufacturer. There is no standard pressure. There are many factors considered and they will be different for every tires size, car model and body style. I think the sensor alert is usually about 5 pounds higher or lower.

I try to check the tire pressure every month; especially the months when the temperature makes big jumps up or down. The driver side door panel should have the correct PSI for your car/tires.
