Buick 2010 LaCrosse . Recalibrated for problem(didn't fix problem). It now shifts later in each gear. Don't like the way it shifts now. Can it be recalibrated back to original specs? Dealer says it cannot be done.

The tranny shifts at about 500 rpm higher than originaly. This was supposed to take care of a problem, but it did not, and now I an stuck with a tranny that shifts at a higher rpm, thus hurting my mileage.

OK, I will do that, but I guess what I am trying to say is, can you reprogram a tranny without a TSB? In other words, put it back before the TSB that they put on?
