2010 All Other Makes All Other Models coolant and oil mixing

Engine and oil are mixing. Runs great. I drained the oil and coolant then I top up the cooling system with water. Left it overnight then next day I took off the drain plug and 1litre of water came out. I'm thinking head gasket or oil cooler.

But if head gasket won t the engine run rough? Thats y am havin a doubt. And I here theres an oil cooler in the oil filter housing.

The head gasket could have a leak between a coolant port and an oil port. This wouldn't affect the compression and thus, it wouldn't run poorly.
