Car makes a whistling or perhaps whining noise that seems to be coming from the passenger side, maybe towards the front. This noise is related to movement of the car (it is present when coasting down a hill while at low RPMs). It happens after the car has been driven for 5 to 10 minutes. It is only heard at speeds at or above about 20mph. Noise itself is not jet engine loud but when radio is off, you definitely hear it.

Have the hub bearing checked as it may be beginning to make noise. Common issue with hubs. Start slow and get louder down the road

Thanks. What is / where is the hub bearing? In your opinion is this the type of thing covered by warantee? Or is it expensive?

In the right front wheel.

If you are within your 3 yr 36k warranty, definitely. If you are not, check to see if you have an extended warranty which may cover it.

A call to a dealer with your vin will verify.
