2009 Volvo S40 Repair Question

How to remove intake manifold on volvo s40 non turbo

I have already removed throttle body, air cleaner box,fuel rail and injector plugs and all wire securing plugs.is it possible to find a diagrsm to see all the bolts that must be removed?

Unfortunately, none of our resources lists your vehicle. However, Autozone lists the gasket here:

There appear to be 6 bolts that secure it to the cylinder head. There may be braces/brackets that need to come off, as well as hoses and/or vacuum lines.

Are you trying to remove the upper or lower intake? If it is the upper you need to remove the rear bolts. See diagram for location. Hope this hepls if you need more info let us know.
