How do you change the bulb in the shift indicator bulb?

The light that shows what gear the shifter is in on the console does not light. Can you tell me what bulb this requires, and how to replace it?

The blub size is a 194 your best bet is to loosen the screws on the console and try to slip your hand up there and change the blub. It should be a twist in socket into the bottom of the indicator. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

You can ethier loosen the console up and snake your arm up there or remove the whole console. If you want to remove the whole console I can get you directions for that. But I would try flexing the console with it loose first.I have never had to replace one of those blubs on that model saturn yet. But I would try to avoid pulling the console.
