I'd Like to change fuel filters in my 6.4 diesel truck and I'M wondering whether it makes a differences which one to do first

The diesel engine is equipped with a fuel filter and water separator HFCM assembly.
Both should be replace at the same time ,No matter of 1st
Drain the water from the HFCM at the recommended maintenance intervals.
