I have a 09 Charger 3.5l died on the way to work ! Checked fues and timing belt !

Sounds like an electric motor when u turn it over and the starter stays engaged. Check time belt its ok an fuses !

How did you check the timing belt? Did you pull the front end of the engine apart and verify all the marks line up properly?

Could not verify the marks ran out of daylight ! I did pull the front cover off, belt is intact. It doesnt even act like it whats to start, just spins !

Is the front timing cover still off? If so, try cranking the engine over by hand and see if everything lines up.

If it does, put it back together and verify fuel and spark.

Hi! Timing belt slipped due to a small leak from the water pump, also had what looked like dried up gasket material, the red factory stuff inside the timing cover. Any way had to replace pump, belt and had the heads redone, bent all the valves ! Thanks jamie !
