I have a 3.3 L engine. My question is, what is the spark gap of my vehicle? Thank you very much and hoping for your most appreciated reply.

Hello,

The spark plug gap is 1.27 mm (0.050 inch).

Here is a guide to help you install them correctly.

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers

I changed the spark plugs in my Van. The Haynes repair manual says the gap should be.048-.053 I checked the gap in the new plugs and they all came out to.053. The engine is rough on ilde and still missfiring a bit. I have checked the wires several times and they are in the correct positions. I think I need to regap the plugs. If this is true what would be the optimum gap for my vehicle.

Hi charlesott1982,

If the gaps are within specs, that should not be the problem.

I would suggest checking the wire conditions. Test the wire resistance with an ohm meter. Resistance might vary with the length of the wires and is ok as long as they have continuity with resistance of less than 25 k ohms.
