Hi I have a 2009 chevy maliby 2.4 with bad engine it has a secundary air pump injection, but I bougth a engine a2009 chevy malibu but this one has not a secundary air pump injection, my question is can I use this engine in my car somebody told me that I can use it but I have to reset my engine computer, I need answer

What about switching over the air injection parts to new motor?

Have to transfer some parts from the old engine to the new engine

dont mess with the computer

The new one do not use the air pump do you say change the cylinder head from the old one to the new one

Do you say transfer the cylinder head to the new one? It is the only way to reconnect the secundary air pump sistem

You need to check to see what the regulations are for your state. In some states, you can only have an engine the car came available with fr that year and anything smog-related that came with it
