Suzuki Reno Brake lights Problem
NO PROBLEMS LIKE THIS BEFORE. WHEN I TRIED TO SHIFT FROM PARK INTO DRIVE I COULDN'T.THE GEAR STICK WAS LOCKED UP.

When you step on the brake can you hear a clicking from the shifter area when the key is in the run position?

I had the problem once.
There is a small sensor/button in the brake pedals range of motion that will not allow the car to shift out of park when the brakes are pressed like normal unless it is out. I just fiddled with the button and got it to loosen up. One way to test if it's the same thing as mine was, is to check for brake lights when pushing the pedal. Mine wouldn't light up.
