When the clutch is depress a squeek is heard and I was wandering if the master cylinder rubbers need changing

Not a rubber problem. Noise is emitted by an axis/pivotal point and it can be from the pedal, master cylinder push rod, slave cylinder-to-clutch fork contact or the clutch fork. If it is external, lubricating the area would be easy but if it is within the bell housing, that would be rather difficult to get at.
