hello.i have a very difficult question about my car.my car has a 2.0t gasoline engine and in my country i have now and every year to pay a lot of taxes because it has a big engine.so i m wondering if i can change it from 2.0t gasoline to 1.9 ttid diesel engine.and if this is possible can you tell me what exactly parts should i buy?(i can't sell the car because i m still paying for it)

LOL. That's a tiny engine in America. Our reference doesn't show a Tdi option for that make and model, so we couldn't tell you if the diesel would bolt straight in. I would ask the local Saab dealer.

You would need basically everything. Engine. Transmission. Motor mounts. Transmission mounts. Computer. Sensors. Completely cleaned out fuel tank and lines.

lol!.you see in my country i ll have to pay at least 1500euros every year for having this (huge) engine to taxes.so i haven't another option.please ask and tell me if you can.

I'd like to, but the problem is the diesel engine you mention isn't available here, so the dealerships here I've spoken with have no idea. One dealer guy went out on a limb, and said that he highly doubted it because of the major differences between the two types of engines.
