2008 Peugeot 207 Repair Question

My is telling me the anti pollution is faulty just started today and the car is blowing a little white smoke with a little water coming out of the exzhaust im worried as to what this can be
Anti pollution faulty what does this mean and what does it involve to fix

It has something to do with the emissions system. You need to have the computer scanned to identify where the problem is coming from.
