2008 Hyundai Accent engine light

My engine light came on yesterday afternoon as I was driving, and this morning when I tried turning it on, my car would not start. The car will turn on with the radio and lights and such, but the engine will just die and will not allow me to drive. This is a first time problem and has never happened to me before because the car is fairly new.

If the check engine light came on, you need to have the computer scanned. It will identify a trouble code that translates into what the problem is. Most parts stores will do it for free. However, you may need to see if they will rent one to you since the car won't start.
