Is installing NRG steering wheel kit dangerous and unsafe?

Is installing NRG steering wheel, with quick release hub lock kit, and quick release kit affect my safety when driving? Will it affect the airbags?

You will have no airbag function at all, system will detect a fault and shut down SRS system you will get a check light that will not go away and in any case I feel that this will be an illegal modification to your car.
