Honda Civic Clutch Problem
Hi I have a 2008 Honda civic coupe. Recently I have been hearing a screeching noise when I step on the gas. The only way it stopped is if I stepped on the break but after i released the break it would begin again. It has now gotten progressively worse to the point where stepping on the break will not make it stop, sometimes it will even make it worse. I was wondering if there is any information you can give me on what the problem might be because it is beginning to become very annoying and I'd like to get it fixed.

COULD THIS BE A BELT MAKING THE RACKET?
IF SO INVESTIGATE TO SEE IF ALL OF THE PULLEYS ARE TURNING ......LOOK AT THE A/C CLUTCH AND PULLEY
SEE IF YOUR BELT TENSIONER IS STILL DOING IT'S JOB--IT MAY BE WEAK ALLOWING PULLEYS TO SLIP
GONNA THROW YOU A PIC OF WHAT "COULD HAPPEN" (JUST ONE OF MANY SCENARIOS) IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG WITH A PULLEY---THIS IS A BELT TENSIONER THAT THE PULLEY BEARINGS LOCKED UP ON---REMEMBER, THE PULLEY USED TO BE ROUND AND I MADE A RED CIRCLE WHERE IT USED TO BE
IF YOU DON'T ADDRESS THIS ISSUE SOON----YOU MAY BE DAMAGING YOUR ENGINE, OR OTHER STUFF SHOULD MY SUGGESTION NOT BE THE PROBLEM
LET US KNOW WHAT YOU FIND
