Ford Taurus Blower motor Problem
Rather suddenly the car has developed a rather loud metallic rattling sound behind the glove box. It lasts only 10 seconds or so every time the car is started. It is not nearly as loud in the engine compartment as it is in the cabin.

Check HVAC vent doors.

You may want to also check your blower motor.
