I have a 2008 Ford Taurus x sel. And I'm wondering would parts form a 2009 Ford Taurus x sel fit?

It depends on what you are trying to put on it. Sometimes thing s change year to year other times they don't if it's engine or trans parts you should be ok but interior parts may change.

The 2009 model is front wheel drive and mine is all wheel drive. I'm looking at things like struts and wheel bearings and sway bar links things like that. Think they would be ok?

Ya they should work except maybe sway bar as it may be different from the awd car. You can always match them up prior to install.
