FORD F-250 COOLANT PROBLEM

2008 Ford F-250 • 400 miles

Heat gauge moves very little at idle fully warmed up. Very little warm air out of vents at idle, if you start to drive only cold air blows. Water level OK, new read 300 klm, vehicle use to overheat before read change.

You may have damaged the head gaskets from overheating. Have a leak down check done to be sure.

Low coolant level, bad thermostat and clogged heater core are some reasons.
