Trouble replacing window regulator
Thought the window broke this weekend, but when the glass guys came out they said it was the regulator. I got the trim panel off. I got the inner panel loose, but the window/regulator assembly won't let me pull it out. As well I'm not sure how to free the latch side wires and cable.
Do I need to remove the glass first? If so, how?
How do I free the latch side of the panel?
I know I can get the new regulator on, if I can just get the assembly out.

the window unbolts from the regulator and you have to support the window all the way up. i use suction cups to hold the window.
there are 4 bolts to release the regulator tracks. unplug the motor and maneuver the regulator/motor assembly out.
