I'm a handicapped vietnam veteran who rides a scooter. My means of transporting it is a 2008 Chrysler 300 Touring car with a V6 engine. When my scooter carrier was installed, it rode high and gave no problems. Now after about three years service it rides lower. Carrier was checked by the installer and is properly mounted. Again at first it rode high and did not drag. Now it rides about 6 inches off the ground. You can't tell looking at the car that it is unlevel.
