Chevrolet Malibu Engine Problem

I have a leak that is coming from above the oil filter housing. i changed the oil pressure switch, but that did not help.
i am thinking about changing the oil filter. i am not sure that would help. just going about the least expensive
way. the leak seems to be coming from the engine above the filter. could this be valve cover gaskets.
my engine is v6 3.6l
need help

make sure it is not leaking from there. it is common when installing that you can break the plastic top on installation/
