On the back of the alternator will have a single cable going to it with a rubber insulator over it

Ok thank you! One last question, im adding a 4gauge wire to it, so is it a bolt that I need to remove or is it like a cap that just pulls off, I dont want to break anything

Ok so you said it has a rubber insulator over it. Do I pull off the rubber insulator and then should just be able to twist off the bolt holding the eyelet? Or is the bolt on the outside that I have to unscrew?
