2007 saturn aura wipers not working hear motor running. linkage disconnected, can it be reconnected? do I need new motor, or tansmission linkage? how do I disconnect wiper blade arms to disassembly for motor access?

The first thing i would see if the wiper arm nuts came loose.

The linkage is disconnected at the ball joint, which protrudes from the wiper motor. I can pop it back on, but it comes right back off with wipers on high speed.

I kinda doubt they sell that socket seperate you can try but i dont think they do.You would have to try the chevy dealer.
