2007 Saturn Aura Is it electrical?

I have noticed my (R) daytime light is out and the cruse control is not working also my power locks don't locks don't engage when car in put in gear.

Try operating the park brake. The switch in it might be going bad. Also the gear shift switch might also be causing the same thing

In other words the car thinks its in park even when its not

I engaged the park break and it solved the problem, so now which one is going bad? And what circuit dose it all run on because now the cruise control works as well?

If youre having to drive with the park break on then that switch is bad. If its off then you've solved the problem id say.
