Just replaced the headlight relay

Just replaced the headlight relay. Now the new part is burning up. How would I fix this

Elaborate on "burning up" as I assume there are no flames coming out of it, ... I hope. Are the head lights working properly? Is this the regular plug-in relay or a custom project?
