I have a 2007 Pontiac g5. My ce just came on and the code is p0174 which is the car is running to lean.I looked for leaks but nothing visible?

When I'm giving it the gas I can hear a rattling noise from my exhaust up from somewhere

174 could be a vacuum leak, low fuel pressure or a bad mass air flow sensor.

You need a fuel pressure gauge, and a scan tool to monitor the long terms. Not really a job for home. At least get a diag to confirm the failure as guesses are expensive and most of the time wrong

With the 174, it should not effect it.

So turns out I have a leak at flexpipe infront of my o2 sensor. I was wondering how do I know what kind of cat my car has? Or if I could put a aftermarket one on with my oem exhaust? My flexpipe and cat are one assembly. Thx
