2007 Pontiac G5 Repair Question

I have a 2007 pontiac g5 and the engine wont crank over want to know what i can do?
The car wont even crack when i turn the key i hear on click and a light comes on showing that my car is lock.

You sure its not a security issue-if not check and test the battery and connections -start here
