Topics covered: Clutch, Rpm, Torque.
Mileage: 100,000 miles.

Asked on January 11, 2012

Why is there a grinding noise when my car hits 3,000 rpm?

It only does it when I'm accelerating. And that's the only time it does it, doesn't matter how fast or slow I'm going, just when it hits that specific rpm range
